Running models on the network instead of locally may cause problems due to various reasons, such as network congestion or permission issues, that are beyond our control. During the analysis, program creates many intermediate files and must have access to read from and write to these files. It is possible that the program is unable to access the intermediate files when you save the file over the network and hence you see some error messages. Network congestion or permission issue could be a couple of possible reasons that may be preventing SAP2000 from accessing the intermediate files. We would strongly recommend that you run the analysis after saving the file locally. You can always copy all the analysis files to the network location at the end of the day.
