Overview
To run CSI software using a Standalone license, you must first decide whether you want to lock the license file to a Disk ID of a specific computer for to a Computer ID (USB key). Locking the license file to a Disk ID will enable you to run the CSI software only on a specific computer. Locking the license file to a Computer ID (USB key) will give you greater flexibility as you will be able to run the software on any computer that has the USB key connected to it. The USB key mailed to you by CSI.
Requesting standalone license
In order for CSI to generate the license file for you, you will need to submit a license request form, available online at http://www.csiberkeley.com/licensing/license-request
Once we receive your license request, we will email you the license file.

The license file can be installed by simply saving it into the program installation directory, ie. the same directory that contains the executable file of the program.
