Keyboard Shortcuts
A number of CSiPlant commands can be accessed directly from the keyboard using keyboard shortcuts to increase modeling speed. These shortcuts require two keystrokes - first an initiating key is clicked (which will display a menu) followed by clicking a command key on the menu.
Ctrl+M invokes the Move command, Ctrl+R invokes the Replicate command, and Ctrl+G invokes the Slide command
Insert forms
Initiating key: i or I, followed by a Command key:
t or T - Insert Point
q or Q - Insert Pipe
f or F - Insert Flange
v or V - Insert Valve
r or R - Insert Reducer
a or A - Insert Anchor
g or G - Insert Guide
x or X - Insert Line Stop
h or H - Insert Rod Hanger
s or S - Insert Snubber
z or Z - Insert Vertical Stop
n or N - Insert Spring Hanger
p or P - Insert Expansion Joint
1 - Insert 1-Joint Link
2 - Insert 2-joint Link
If Inserting a pipe support or component where there is no existing piping, CSiPlant will insert both piping and support or component with a single command.
Assign Loads
Initiating key: f or F, followed by a Command key:
f or F - Assign Point Load
g or G - Assign Ground Displacement
r or R - Assign Pressure
t or T - Assign Temperature
c or C - Assign Concentrated Point Load
d or D - Assign Distributed Load
s or S - Assign Strain Load (used for cut short/cut long among other applications)
Assign properties or supports

q or Q - Assign Pipe Property Set
e or E - Assign Frame Property
a or A - Assign Anchor to Point
g or G - Assign Guide to Point
x or X - Assign Line Stop to Point

With some PCs, users may have to hold down the Fn key before pressing the function command key
F1 key displays online Help
F5 runs Analysis & Design
F6 displays deformed shape
F11 displays design code stresses
Ctrl+T shows/displays tables
Pressing the Delete key deletes selected objects
Mouse Options
Hold down mouse wheel to pan
Hold down Shift key + mouse wheel to rotate
Scroll mouse wheel to zoom in / zoom out
Right-click in blank model area to expose additional options
