Guide

Guide supports can restrain the piping in lateral and vertical directions. Piping is free to move in the axial direction although friction can offer some resistance. Guides allow users to specify different gaps, friction and other properties in each of the 4 local directions. Guide stiffness can be linear or multilinear plastic.

If users want a guide which restrains piping only in the lateral directions, simply define a guide to be 'Free' in the local 2 plus and minus directions. Users can define multiple guide types.

Guide supports are always normal to the piping local axis.
