For any Software product, two different major versions (ex. V14 and V15) may coexist on the same computer. Minor versions (ex. V15.0.1 and V15.2.0) may also coexist, though an implementation process is necessary. By default, when installing an update (V15.0.1 to V15.2.0), the product will remove all previous-version program files.

Installation

To install two different minor versions on the same computer:

  1. Copy program files from the previous-version (V15.0.1) installation folder to a backup location;

  2. Install the updated version (V15.2.0) to a new directory, automatically deleting the original previous-version (V15.0.1) files;

  3. Copy the remaining previous-version (V15.0.1) files from the backup location to their original location; then

  4. Users may operate both versions (V15.0.1 and V15.2.0) on the same computer.
