When I specify LIVE_LOC1 and LIVE_LOC2 as separate patterns, both of LIVE design type, the combination 1.2*DL+1.6*LIVE_LOC1+1.6*LIVE_LOC2 is automatically generated. How do I apply these patterns separately?

Answer: Load-pattern design types correlate with specific design post-processing methods such that design load combinations are automatically created with the appropriate load factors.

For the configuration described, the separate live-load patterns may be applied by manually creating load combinations as follows:
