Horizontally curved bridges

The bridge modeler provides for analysis and design of horizontally curved bridges. Capabilities are summarized as follows:

• Analytical model formulation based on parametric definition of bridge geometry

• Calculation of internal reactions, including moment, shear, and axial forces, on the local and global level

• AASHTO STD 2002 and AASHTO LRFD 2007 concrete-box-bridge design checks, including shear, flexure, flexural stress, and principal stress
