Disable update of punching-load data

How do I disable the “updating program calculated punching load data” function such that my model does not take a long time to update?

Answer: This message and update process occurs when the model has punching-load joint assignments. To resolve, export the model as an .s2k text file, delete the table for joint punching-load assignments, then import the .s2k file back into the software.

These assignments are only used for design according to API RP2A-WSD2000 or API RP2A-LRFD 97 codes. Unless you are using either of these, the removal of punching-load joint assignments will not affect analysis or design results.
